This yard is on an unusual lot with 30' to the rear lot
line and very wide. It has pool, spa, bbq island that is sunken below patio level for a
swim up bar, sports court, fireplace, putting green and herb garden. This plan was prepared for
a homeowner that intended to manage all the contractors and build it himself. He knew he needed
a good plan and this one works very well for his uniquely shaped lot.

Renovation project for a multi-million dollar house and view. The backyard
slopes about 3 feet which allowed for a two tiered pool. The upper pool has a negative
edge which provides a water feature when viewing from the lower terrace level, or from the
covered ramada. Plus a bbq island and firepit.

This vacation residence is on a 100' x 100' lot and is very low maintenance with no
pool, no lawn to maintain. There is a redwood spa off the rear wooden deck which leads down to
the bbq cooking area and the main level of the crushed granite garden path which allows the
owners to stroll among their native plantings.

This lot is 110' wide and originally, 45' deep until the backyard
was extended another 45 feet to allow for a putting green and much more expansive area for
plantings, giving the lot much greater depth. The previous owners had not fenced the entire
property, thus losing alot of valuable land that is now recaptured and which increases the
value and enjoyment of the property.

This is a large corner lot with a very small useable backyard due to a wash. The pool
is contemporary to fit efficiently in the smaller space. Since it was a spec home for a
builder, not alot of bells and whistles went into this. The planting however between the
street and the house were extensive because the entire lot was graded.
