while the front features a Mexican tiered fountain along the entry walk which draws the eye
towards the courtyard entryway flanked by flowering vines.

This design is on an unusual lot like Package #2, but the
client only needed the right rear area designed. She wanted a sacred garden and a sanctuary
where she could enjoy her herb and healing gardens, a meditation area, koi pond and meandering
paths connecting the spaces. This side of the yard is the wife's private retreat, while here
husband has the opposite side.

Before the major renovation, this yard had only grass, trees and shrubs. Not it has a
resort look along with formal italian garden inspired elements including pool, spa,
pergola, covered ramada with viewing deck, outdoor kitchen, fireplace, koi pond,
Canterra stone flooring, a private sitting area for the guest house, low volt lighting and
low maintenance plantings. See pictures of this project that I designed.

This lot has a detached garage and guesthouse which created a
private, secluded courtyard, so we installed a wall fountain and fireplace against opposite
walls along with cobblestone pavers giving it a European feeling. In the rear, I designed a
pool, separate fireplace area, bbq island, and of course a lawn for the little kids and
pets.

This client wanted to extend their backyard behind their pool to gain more room, so we
built a 100 foot long retaining wall 4 feet high so the existing elevation of the pool matched
the extension. We then created a separate stepped down seating area for the fireplace so as to
not block the view. We matched the existing slate so well, you cannot tell where the rear wall
used to be.

This lot is 80' wide and 40' deep on a golf course and flat.
This design was driven by maintaining maximum view of the green fairways and creatively
configuring the elements desired by the Owner, which was a covered ramada, bbq island and small
natural boulder waterfeature. The bbq island was used to divide the patio into three separate
sub-use areas rather than one big patio.

A 40' x 20' backyard that had a pet ravaged lawn underwent a 'sacred garden makeover'
by creating the illusion of a bigger space by building low seatwalls that served as a
raised planter, a focal point espailier on the rear wall which has a mirror in it that
reflects the statuary placed in the concentric paver circle on the patio area.
