Good sized backyards without a pool or lawn areas make it conducive to create meandering walking paths to enjoy the elements, plantings and different views from around the garden, while creating small sitting areas to create interest and functionality.

The fountain was designed for viewing from four sides, something you can do if its a custom design such as in this project. The backwall was eventually painted with a simple floral mural as the owner was an artist and wanted to have her "hand in the creative part of the design".
